Tuesday, July 29, 2008 - Over the past three weeks Locke Design has experienced one of the largest influxes of business in our history. This has led us to interview and attempt to hire a new designer with an emphasis on web design and copy writing. The past three weeks have been challenging with the increased work flow but we are glad to be so blessed. The third incarnation of Locke Design’s new website has been in development for over one year. We are quickly nearing completion of this site that is one of the largest we have ever designed. Monday, July 14, 2008 - This week our marketing staff begins planning our participation in the Anderson Country, South Carolina Art Center’s Applied Design show. Our company approached the Arts Center with the idea and the director has gladly take the idea and run with the concept. Our marketing director is planning out the exhibit of logos, stationery, brochures, interactive websites, signage, trade show exhibits and conceptual development of corporate identity. Our New York Brand Ambassador, Patsy Hendrix is beginning to seek a New York City marketing representative and account representative to assist with Manhattan clientele. She also hopes to plan an October event in the New York Area. Our junior web designer, Ashley Denny also works to complete the new Locke Deign website by late July.
