The Locke Design Process

A logo is the central foundation for any brand! It is a symbol that identifies your business to your customers. At Locke Design Omnimedia we look at a brand like a tree with many branches and the trunk of that tree is your logo. Any business no matter how large or small needs a great logo to look professional. Here is how we do it at Locke Design!

Step 1: The Client Meeting

First we sit down with you and find out about your business, what you do, how you do it and what makes you different from your competition. You are provided with a logo workbook before your consultation that allows you to focus upon strategic questions you will be asked during the meeting. Look and feel, symbols, colors and target market are assessed during this meeting. Locke Design also familiarizes you with our services and our portfolio so you can see how we work and our quality.

Step 2: Hand Drawings and Conceptualization

After the client meeting Locke Design begins to research and brainstorm based on your company's unique needs. We sketch, do hand drawings, Google images, and look through books relevant to your needs. Then we go to the computer to design and refine the logos.

Step 3: Presentation

At the presentation you are shown three potential logo designs in black and white and in color.

Step 4: Refinements

After you have viewed your logo options, colors and fonts can be refined until you are completely happy. Your logo package includes two hours of refinements if they are needed. After the logo is approved a disk with multiple file formats and a corporate identity specification guide with your colors and fonts will be sent to you.

Step 5: Applications

Now that you have a beautiful and functional logo we apply it to emails, website, e-cards, business cards, signs and any way your clients visually interact with your company.
