The Locke Web Design Process

Step 1: Strategy, Research & Our Workbook

Locke Design meets with you to customize your website for your audience. What do your customers want when they come to your site? How do you want it to function? We go over the Locke Design Website Workbook with you and ask the questions that other design firms do not ask. We don’t create templates. Instead, we create something unique that will work for you as the hub of your marketing!

Step 2: Site Plan & Architecture

After our initial interview and workbook discussion, a usability strategy and sitemap is completed at this stage and approved by you. The site map or information architecture is like a blueprint for the website which will clarify how the site will flow. Having a solid strategy and sitemap will help ensure a strong end product.

Step 3: Design Look and Feel

After our Strategy Meeting you will be presented with three looks for your home page. Once you decide on a look and feel then we set about building the site. We will then create a production timeline to make certain your site is launched on time.

Step 4: Develop Working Website

After you have selected your look and approved your navigation structure Locke Design develops a website for you that expresses your identity and builds in the features, pages and applications which make your website not just a brochure, but a site that begs to be explored and gets results.

Step 5: Content Population & Testing

We work with you to create great content which will optimize search engine results, and a clear design to elicit readability. We also produce any photographs and video necessary to sell your product or service then include them in the design of your website.

Our developers then test your website on multiple browsers such as Explorer, Safari and Firefox, using multiple platforms in order to ensure that your site works and looks great on any computer or mobile device in the world.
